TruthGPT: Building an AI App People Can Trust
How Ryason Tech built TruthGPT, an AI mobile app designed to deliver transparent, digestible information — with 85% higher user trust.
The challenge
The client was entering a market crowded with confident-sounding misinformation. The product had to answer real questions without pretending to certainty, and it had to earn trust from the first session.
What we built
We built a mobile chatbot experience with a retrieval layer, clear source attribution and a tone designed to separate verified information from interpretation. The interface keeps the answer short, then lets the user go deeper. Guardrails prevent the model from inventing citations or presenting speculation as fact.
The stack
Mobile app, LLM with retrieval, source citation layer, moderation and logging.
Results are reported from the project and are specific to that client. They are not a guarantee of results for another business.

How we measure success
Before the build starts, we agree on the numbers that matter: response time, completion rate, hours removed, conversion or retention. The dashboard is built alongside the workflow so the result is visible, not argued about. Where a client reports a percentage, it is measured against their own baseline — not an industry average.
What a similar build would involve
A comparable project usually starts with a discovery session, a written scope and a small pilot. The pilot proves the workflow with real examples before it is rolled out. If you want to explore a similar system, book a free consultation and bring one real example of the task.
